Bio

I was born in Toronto, Canada and received a B.A.Sc. in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto. After working at Xilinx, Inc in San Jose, I earned a D.Phil in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford. I worked for OBS Medical and then returned to the university for roles in the Machine Learning Research Group, Somerville College, and Mind Foundry, including secondments to BAE Systems and BP plc.

Back in Toronto from 2015, I led Datatrie, Inc., taught at the University of Toronto, and conducted research at the Hospital for Sick Children. In 2024 I began working as a Senior Methodologist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).
