Background

I was born in Toronto, Canada and received a B.A.Sc. in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto. After working at Xilinx, Inc in San Jose, I earned a D.Phil in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford. I worked for OBS Medical and then returned to the university for roles in the Machine Learning Research Group, Somerville College, and Mind Foundry.

In 2015 I repatriated to Toronto where I led Datatrie, Inc., taught at the University of Toronto, and researched at the Hospital for Sick Children. As of 2024, I hold the position of Senior Methodologist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).
